Hi, Welcome to Drive Auto 1st. We have been a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) for over 20 years with Manual and Automatic, Drive Auto 1st Harrogate is based in Harrogate  and York however we also cover Knaresborough and the surrounding villages.

We will teach you to the highest standards whether you have driven before or not, to increase your confidence and ability to drive, once we are confident in our driving we will move on to drive on the busier roads, such as the A59 Skipton Road, Ripon Road A61 and Wetherby Road A59, which will help you pass your practical test. We will spend time in Harrogate and Knaresborough, often going out towards Wetherby (A661), Otley (A6161) and York (A59) to practice country roads.

It is important to practice on the types of roads and routes you may encounter on your driving test that could catch you out and challenge you.

 

You will also find driving at different times of the day useful as the volumes of traffic vary. Different driving conditions and situations will not only aid you in preparing sufficiently for a successful test pass but also help you to drive you vehicle safely in future.
